Great love story with some thrills

I enjoyed this series. It was a great love story with some thrills and surprises.

Final review:
Definitely enjoyed Book 1 and 2 in the series! Love the banter between Merc and Puma, enjoyed how I didn’t like Barbie and ended up lovin’ the healing of this Momma and her daughter… and the thug love storyline. Clearly $$$ is abundant and Merc keeps throwing it around.. must be nice. LOL

Enjoying most of this one… but why Puma would NOT tell her people where she was heading when danger was lurking … not feeling that twist.

It was good. It wasn’t as deep as it could’ve gone. There are a lot of unresolved things left here. And I feel like it could’ve just gone deeper into the characters like expressing their emotions because at some point it was just like two glossy and too easily overcome. I think the book would have benefited from not having so many sad stories and really just digging in on the emotional depth of the main two characters.

This is the second book I’ve read from Kami and I definitely will read many more. I read book one and instantly got hooked ….. I knew Puma and Murk’s story was going to be very interesting. The banter between the two was hilarious and the cherry on top was my favorite male narrator Winston James, the goat.
