COLTON & BRYNN ARE MY FOREVER LOVES

Okay, Avery Caris and Patrick Zeller have been incredible this entire series, but OH MY LAWD!! They went above and beyond for Colton & Brynn! They were phenomenal! It may help that this is my favorite book from Madi Danielle, but I was blown away with this one! Loved, adored, obsessed, all the words for it!!

Story Review:
MADI DANIELLE!!! MISS MA'AM!!!! What addictive material did you put in this book because I am ADDICTED to Colton & Brynn!! Obsessed is an understatement at this point I think...I swear Madi just gets better and better with each book she puts out, and I can't get enough!

Colton & Brynn as a delish enemies to lovers/brother's teammate romance and I ATE THEM UP! They are so snarky to each other, their banter is GOLD, their tension is PHEW, & the chemistry & spice between them....DEAR GAWD! Colton is THAT MAN!

While the chemistry and spice is SO GOOD, the heart of this story is beautiful too. Brynn & Colton both have childhood trauma that they deal with, and have more in common than they thought. How they grow & work towards healing together is beautiful!!! I cried my eyes out multiple times, and loved every second of it.

Absolutely going up as one of my top reads of the year for 2024! I have already re-read and can't wait to do it AGAIN & AGAIN!

Brynn and Colton are my absolute favorite - the push/pull of this enemies to lovers is all that I love!

The romance

It is so worth it to buy this book. It got the sweetest and spiciest scenes in it and how they come together at the end is so lovey-dovey and if you’re thinking about listening to this book, you should the people who voice the characters. They’re really good.

Holy smokes, this book was all kinds of hot. I love Madi Danielle's books. I can always count on her books to be filled with all kinds of smutty goodness while giving me a great story. I was a huge fan of Matt in The Hat Trick because he loves to degrade Chandler. Well, Colton puts Matt to shame with his mouth and actions. This book, like all her others, was a chefs kiss 🤌💋

Colton is one of the Denver Dragons' biggest rival, and he just got traded to their team. No one is happy about this, especially Colton. He hates being in Denver, hates the team, and hates the players. What he does want is to hook up with the Captain's little sister, Brynn.

Brynn is back home in Denver to live near her brother and friends. Everyone she's close to is happy in love, and she is feeling lonely. She misses her family. They are broke apart and hardly ever talk. The only one she's close to is her oldest brother, and he's in a why choose relationship and just had a baby.

No matter how lonely Brynn is, she is not going to sleep with the hot hockey player, covered in tattoos. Colton is a prick, and she can't stand him. No matter how much he pushes to be with her, the answer is NO. If she can just get her body on board with this plan, everything will be fine.

Until she meets him at a bar one night. Then she makes a bet with him. That leads to them kissing, getting her phone number, text, calls, him finding her tattoo (hot after by the way) after he bet on getting a hat trick for a one night stand. Colton then realized that 1 time would never be enough. This book gets really spicy, so buckle up!

No matter how much crap Brynn gives Colton, he gives it right back in an aggressive way and degrading words that leave her body on fire and in a sated mess by the time he's done with her. And let me tell you that Colton loves to "eat his dinner," down below and will punish her if she interrupts his eat out times, not listening and being a brat. I think she learned her lesson though in the one punishment that left her without after his of teasing and she couldn't touch herself for days while he was gone playing games.

I really enjoyed this book and loved the tropes. You could tell that Colton hated Brynn's older brother, his new Captain. Yes, Colton was a 🍆 bit everyone knew that before he was traded. Everyone was quick to blame Colton for not wanting to be part of the team and then just hating him. Yet, they never really welcomed him, nor gave him a chance to fit in.

Colton has a lot of his shoulders, but he's always pushed everything back in his mind. Brynn was the only one to snoop on his life to figure things out about him. What she found was that they both were suffering from the same problems.

I didn't like how Brynn was just so easy at pushing him away because she was scared of how it made her feel and what everyone would think. She never put herself out her own happiness first. She did everything for everyone else, and often times out herself and her life down. Yet, she never did anything to change it until the relentless Colton came around and pushed her. She still ran even when he asked her not to once he realized his feelings. I loved how Colton's whole attitude and feelings changed once he was happy. This is a must-read spicy book. Lots of spice!!

The narrators were amazing. Patrick Zeller, OMG, it was like listening to smooth sin, and he really got into his performance during spicy times. He was an A+++ for me. He had definitely jumped to the top 3 make narrators I love. Good, I could listen to him talk all day.
Avery Caris did a great job as Brynn. You could tell that she really enjoyed her roles and it comes out in her voice. These two together was pure gold to listen to.
