Much more than anticipated

wow this book had more guts than I anticipated. athe back story of their lives and the events that took place to get to the present day was not what I was expecting. I love the love story and the spice as well. Great book

Illicit Obsession by J.A. Owenby is part of the A Whitmore Elite Football Series. This is the story of Phoebe (Aria) Jenkins and Jagger Whitlock. This story is about step-siblings. Four years prior, the house they lived in was on fire. Each sibling thought the other was dead. Enter college setting, they come back around to find each other again. At first Aria doesn't know that the masked man is Jagger. Jagger knows it's her though and he uses her. He wants his answers about what happened.
Jaggers only focus was to be a professional NFL player until Aria came back into his life. There's a lot of twists and turns within this story. It's crazy how all the secrets come to light towards the end.
