Why does everything have to be so complicated? How's a guy supposed to run a spacetime shelter, save everybody, and still loot everything that isn't nailed down?

And, most importantly, will Sergey ever make it to Berlin? There's only one way to find out!

Continues to be funny, and action packed. The humor in large part comes from the tongue in cheek way that the book treats its main character, as Sergey is still doing a great job in a pretty scatterbrained way. Even though he has finally gotten the delegation thing Down, he is still running from fire to fire all the time, even more so than usual.
in fact, and this is my largest criticism, the book ends on a major cliffhanger, just as the real tension is finally building up, and Sergey is about to be unable to juggle all of the balls he has been juggling all book.
There is significant progress in the development of some of the women, especially Reine, and that is nice to see.
The narration continues to be good and subtle for the most part, although there is a chapter which takes place in Great Britain, or at least the British Isles, where Kevin doesn’t use any British accents for some reason. He just goes straight American on it for reasons I don’t really understand.

Fun action, lots of set up and growth planning

second run through I press the 30nd skip a couple times some of the boring stuff but other than that love in the second read through battle scenes are just as good as I remember keep the books coming, the auntie hero is more of a neutral good hero

love the battle scenes
