Glad the story is over

Book 5 was fine. It nicely concluded the story and sub plots. We saw several side characters get a quasi HEA. Narration was fine. But I wasn't invested in this story or the HEA since the other books weren't good. After all the stupid back and forth drama of the last 4 books, everything felt a little too perfectly tied up, and a little too quickly at that. Several characters, especially MFC's dad had an annoying character ending, considering his actions for the entirety of the series. The ending was fine, I just didn't care what happened. Glad for MMC' sister's sub plot and MMC's mom sub plot. I felt bad for MMC's agent since he didn't really have a part in this book, yet he seemed to perfectly manage MMC. I was hoping he would have a role in the Bodega management changes or at least come up. But several characters throughout the 5 books find of fell off or were only involved in some unimportant subplots that didn't make the story along. This book was fine as an ending to the series but I won't revisit any of the books in this series.
