Bratva bosses aren't supposed to marry regular girls like me.

Andrei Barinov is the heir of the Barinov Bratva—a prince with the world at his fingertips. I was working as a wedding photographer, trying to forget my cheating ex-fiancé when my path crossed with his.

He offered me a chance to escape, throw caution to the wind, and forget my troubles. I never got a chance to tell him my answer when the bullets started flying. He saved me that day, and I thought I'd never see him again.

Until I find him standing in my kitchen.

He's making the same offer to me again. But this time, he's not giving me a choice.

He's telling me that I'm coming with him. He's telling me that we're getting married. He's telling me that I will say yes, whether I want to or not.

Bratva bosses don't marry regular girls like me. Which means there's something he wants from me. Something he needs. Something he's not telling me about.

And if I want to find out just what that is…

It's going to cost me my body, heart, and soul.

Deceitful Vows is book one of the Barinov Bratva trilogy. The story continues in book two, Deceitful Lies, and concludes in book three, Deceitful Bond. For mature listeners.

I am here for the fact that he was head over heels for her without having sex yet but then when they do!!!!! My goodness that scene was well done. The female narrator was great. not a fan of the male narrator but get they can't all be Alex Kidd or Teddy Hamilton 😝🙃. Also would have been great as a duet.

The storyline is amazing!

Great suspense, hot sex and fm was mostly believable. Which was a nice usually the fm is a total ditz.

Great listen

It took me a few to get into it because of the cadence of the male narrator but I got over it quickly because of how great the rest of the book itself is! The female narrator’s performance is fantastic, and the male’s voice acting is good outside of the one issue. The storylines are excellent, the writing is wonderful, the twists and turns are nonstop! What a ride! I never wondered how much longer the book was - I just want more!!!

So good!

I’m not done with this book yet because I’m struggling to listen. The male narrator drags out every other word. It’s so annoying I doubt I can finish the book. I want to like the book but sure if I can’t get thru it. There’s no reason for someone to read like that. Ugh.

Whhhhy Doooes a Narrator Have to Draggg the words.

He kidnapped her, kept her from her dying father, showed no mercy, kept her prisoner, lied to her the entire story…. But she desires him…her body betrayed her…. She’s only giving him her body and that’s IT.. her BODY needs him😒 she was a brat the entire time, but never really stood her ground . She caved in and didn’t have any self respect. How disappointing. Can’t we have self respecting females??
I mean, her mom died and she ran into his arms for comfort and he keeps his hands at his side and didn’t hug her back!? What the?? Frustrating. She said I hate you and I want to leave this cage…you stole me, made me leave my life…so he opened the door and told her to go…and guess what? She stayed 😡

I liked both narrators.

I hate him, but my body wants him…weak FMC

The story started out interesting but after awhile it took on a tone of non-stop back and forth whining and complaining about everything which carried on through the entire book. The FMC went from angry and crying to excited and happy so quickly it gave me whiplash. This also carried on for hours on end. She hated him, she wanted him. He pissed her off then became amazing. Then the endless agony of her refusing to admit her true feelings to him and vice versa, it was exhausting to say the least. The entire time there wasn’t one person who cared what they did yet it was the main focus of the entire story. I understand attempting to build up drama for a climax but when the climax finally arrived what do you think happened? Yep, she went right back to being pissed off~that’s when I called it quits. I couldn’t handle one more moment of their self created nonsensical drama. Narrators voices were decent even with the female being over dramatic every other minute.

Eh!
