Sweet story

I liked the storyline. Narrators were okay. I thought it ridiculous that a department head would take complaint of one person over a proven hard worker, and really, how are there 5 witnesses to what they said occurred

Very heavy on the hospital tech

The beginning, a LOT of the beginning, is very heavy on hospital tech and the inner workings of the hospital. A LOT. This goes on for MANY hours. Without romance or steamy bits. In fact the MMC bullies everyone. For HOURS. This really makes the book drag. The book picks up in the middle for a while, and there are some decent steamy bits. Then it slows down again for the rest of the book. Overall, I can’t recommend the book. I liked the narrators a ton, they did an excellent job and I’d definitely recommend them. The author, however, needed to streamline the book to make it flow better. I won’t be going on in the series.

Boring

I stopped listening when the planning for a 70th birthday party went on and on. I stopped on chapter 8. This seems like a Hallmark movie. Narrators are good. This may be tamer than the synopsis makes it seem.
