But when Maggie discovers that Garrett is alive, and part of a plot to steal dangerous alien technology with ties to Maggie's past, she finds herself pushed into the role of a reluctant Superhero.

Caught in a race against time, Maggie must master her new abilities, and use her skills as a scientist to figure out why Garrett and his accomplices want the technology—and who they intend to sell it to.

Very good book

I have enjoyed the series as a whole and how it all connects. The voice acting is amazing, and I do enjoy all the different voices and a few accents! The author did make some improvements in adding more variety when using the phase “she said”… I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t much spice, but the story didn’t need it to be interesting. I appreciated the interpersonal dilemmas/obstacles as they were very relatable. I did find the over-powered nature of alot of the “good guy” meta humans to be boring and wished there was more perceived danger and suspense. Overall this book had me on the edge of my seat more than the first 2, bravo!

Amazing

Another winner from Molly, I'm absolutely in love with this world she has built! I love seeing characters from the other books appear in here too.

Superhero LGBT soap opera romance mystery

Every book in this series is better than the last. Now it's finally time for what we've all been eagerly awaiting, the team book! It's another great read that continues to build on the Hearts of Heros universe, bringing back characters you love and making you fall in love with new ones. In addition, for the first time, in this book our MC is the one being romanced instead of sound the romancing, and love interest is absolutely lovely. The science fiction aspect in this book fits well and is well thought out, though that's always been one of Bragg's strong suits. And finally, the relationship with the straight best friend is SO REAL. I loved it, and if you're a fan of this series, you will too.

Great piece to the series but not as full

While I do think it was very well written and very enjoyable, unlike the first two books in the series, it felt a little flat. I enjoyed all the science and nuances of the different characters and powers, but something kept it from being as fulfilling as the first two books. That being said I definitely would not skip it, still a very good part of trilogy!

the first book had some spicy scenes. second book had one only now this one had none. the banter is amazing. Just wish for more spicy.
