God grant me the serenity to not choke the wildcard of rich b*tches... Charlie f--king McAllister.

My best friend's little sister and tormentor extraordinaire. Star of my every trauma as a teenager. And thanks to our mothers and their matchmaking schemes for our annual ski week… my savior. Or ruin.

One week as a couple, putting on a show for our parents while avoiding our exes. How hard could it be?

Until we're stuck sharing a room. A room with one bed. And a toy arsenal the spawn brought with her big enough to subdue a small country.

I promised not to f--k Chance's baby sister, but who was going to keep her from f--king me?

Includes a Provoking Saint Nick bonus story.

The preview hooked me. Absolutely loved the script and while this book is short, it's the funniest I've listened to! Solidly written and superbly performed. Charlie (Lucy Rivers) and Nick (Thomas Oakley) are like gin and tonic; ah, maybe tequila would be more appropriate. The MCs mothers' script was golden. Story takes unexpected turns here and there that ramped up the fun and frolic. Best of all, no cliffhanger or those angst moments.

Hilarious & angst free

Thomas Oakley - tied for my #1 favorite m narrator - does a fabulous job in this book.

Lucy Rivers is good, but I'm not a fan of her voice when she's narrating a male character.

Charlie's parents and Nick's parents have been friends for years. They have a tradition of a family ski vacation every year around the holidays. This year, however, Charlie's parents tried to set her up and invited her ex. Nick's parents invited his ex - and Charlie's not having it. So she intercepts Saint Nick and tells him they're pretending to date. The only problem is, there's only one room at the lodge for them.

Forced proximity has Nick noticing how poorly his mother AND Charlie's mother treats her. His protective streak comes out to play. Charlie is a very strong person, and she has her own career and goals. Plus, she's very adventurous in the bedroom, which takes Nick by surprise and increases both his desire to cross that line with his best friend's sister, and to continue to love and protect her for the rest of their lives.

This one's really high on the spice scale. There isn't a lot of lovey dovey behavior, but there are a lot of bedroom antics. Happy Ever After, and another story coming with Charlie's brother Chance and Nick's baby sister Holly.

Sweet Scale: 3/5
Spicy Scale: 4/5

Charlie & Nick are perfect together!
