Perfect engaging mood booster

Loved the characters, plot, pace and tone of this delightfully fast paced, witty, and wise story. A heroine’s Princess Bride with a story arc in which modest virtues grow plausibly into heroic successes. Perfect for grizzled adults and mild mannered young ladies.

Fun but heartfelt

This story was a really fun listen. The characters were developed nicely and the pace was perfect. The narrator’s performance held the tone wonderfully.

Just Lovely

Such a charming yet deep story from Sanderson. I thoroughly enjoyed this and only wish there was more.

Everything you want in a classic tale

are you looking for a strong female role, a character who feels smart and well thought out? then look no further. The narrator does an excellent job of conveying all the emotional weight that is put throughout this book. while still maintaining an uplifting and humorous tone. One of the best self-contained novels I've read in a long time.
