Step-brother romance!

Maisie is stuck having to go to college out where her dad lives, living with him, her step-mom and her 5 step brothers. At first it seemed like nothing had changed in 7 years. Then the boys realized Maisie had grown up.. and she realized the same thing. Seeing them in a new light and for who they were as individual people, her feelings shifted, and so did theirs. Some steamy exploring of those feelings and the guys standing up to their mom.. Maisie and her guys find the courage to move forward with their relationships.

The narrator did a good job, but I would have enjoyed having a male narrator in the mix as well.

I absolutely love this story. the narrator was amazing. the thing I loved most is that they overcame their differences and talked about their problems. keep up the good work. can't wait for the next.

Spicy Fun!

Oh I really loved this heroine! She’s strong and spunky, and doesn’t take things passively. The men took me a little while to like, but just like her, they won me over.
The narrator was wonderful, and did the voices very well! She had an easy voice to listen to! I can’t wait to read more from this series!

... and they lived happily ever after!

Kyle is such a sweetheart, and his being the catalyst for the RH was a wonderful turn of events. Poor Jameson. I hope he recovers quickly and gets drafted soon. If there is anything that raises an eyebrow for me, it would probably be about how time was so accelerated. Everything came to a head in mere days!

Maisie is definitely a more forgiving person than I am. In her shoes, I don't know how long it would take me to get over someone trying to drown me as a kid. Someone did that to me before. It has been more than 40 years, and I still haven't forgiven him, lol! Suffice it to say, I probably never will. But then again, I don't care for him the same way Maisie cares for Jameson.

Despite not having a male tandem in narrating this book, this was performed really well. Great job!

Hate to love x5 relationship

I really enjoy that Stephanie Brother’s books always have an actual storyline behind the romance, not just surface-level chemistry. There’s plot, character development, and progression, which keeps me invested from beginning to end.
I’ll admit, a 5-guy reverse harem isn’t something I ever thought I’d be into, but Ms. Brother makes it work. The relationships develop in a way that feels engaging and easy to follow, and the shift from tension to connection is what really pulls the story together.
The pacing kept me interested, and the overall balance between story and romance was done really well. Definitely a 5-star listen for me across the board: story, performance, and overall enjoyment.
