The Royal Duke is a progression fantasy with grownups who act like grownups. They drink, they swear, they make bad jokes, and they fall in love. What's not in this book? Sex scenes. Graphic or otherwise. There are plenty of jokes and innuendo about it, however.

Not a bad start.

This book was a great start to a new series. It’s a bit different than your typical slice-of-life portal series. The only issue I had was how unrealistic it was that this had been going on for so long and no one thought to bring things like weapons and food ideas over. I hope that this anomaly can be explained in the next book.

the characters were engaging, the storyline and plot engrossing. I absolutely loved it, waiting for next months credit to get the next book..

Mundane story that sucksssss

The voice actor was pretty good but story was bad.

If you want to hear about being a cook, or talking, or lore talking. I can see setting up event but this was NOT well done. I am 19 chapters in and cannot take it anymore. Wow he rescued a cat, oh the cat is bitchy, oh I have recipes and will cook hamburgers

If you want a book about nothing more then set up… THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!!

Too much cornyness

The CONSTANT steroid reference to insinuate that he had muscles. we get it, he is a muscular guy. Good grief. Oh, and he played sports,. constantly hit the gym, and did a little MMA. Further driving home the fact that he is a "muscular guy." The constant stupidity. If he played D&D, it would be so "unbelievable." Sheesh.

not very much action in the first book. hopefully the second book has more. I don't think I will buy any more of this series.
