I love this story so far. I hope one day it gets an anime series. It’s short enough to be 2 seasons…..

Delightful performance. I really like the narration

This book really pushed the story along. I hope there is a 4th volume.

The lead was a little less whiny, which was nice. My issue continues to be that Agnes is so unconfident in the extreme. I know it’s part of the story line but it’s boring. I hope Agnes can learn better control of her powers

The truth is learned

We finally find out most of the details of what actually happened to her parents and why. We also get to see more of the world and how her power develops.

Such a cute mushroom love story!! Great next part of their story! Cant wait to see where the story goes next.

Good moments that fell flat

I'll try to keep the spoilers limited, but I'm sorry if a few leak through. This book had a number of good moments where Agnes stood on her own, but then she ended up not just relying on others but hiding behind them. I was so excited for her journey to make it back home on her own, but then she ended up doing nothing more than meekly following along with Jerome. Then she was such a badass towards the end, but instead of letting her follow through with standing up for herself and managing stuff on her own, she ended up hiding behind Claude again. I'm just constantly disappointed with this entire series, never giving her space to shine.
