Publisher's summary

Author Tristan Kasdan is much more than he seems. When he isolates himself for the winter to write his next best seller, he dutifully answers the call to help a near-dead woman in the frozen woods without question. Lily Daventry is too busy faking her own death to worry over details, when she wakes and meets her fierce and handsome protector.

Trapped until the first thaw, their attraction is instant and powerful. Keeping secrets is easy, until not telling the truth—and not believing the truth—can get them killed. Chased out of hiding, Tristan is Called by the Divine Council at the worst possible time.

She must outrun her past, and he must change the future if they have any hope of being together.

Hope and New Beginnings

Tristan Kasdan has lived many years and has had many lives and never wanted to settle down with one woman yet alone a human one that is until The Devine Council sends him on a mission were he finds a half dead female. Tristan and Lily are snowed inside of his cabin, and things develop quickly between the pair, and now he will stop at nothing to help her. Lily has her own secrets that could cost her everything, including her happiness.
I am in complete awe at how phenomenal this book and series are. I became invested in the characters and couldn't stop listening. If you love drama, suspense, action, and sex with a paranormal twist, you will love this book and series. Christy Lynn is a phenomenal narrator she puts her heart into the story and brings it to life for the listener. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read/listen more from this author.

Better than the last!

No spoilers…This series keeps getting better and better! Lily and Tristan’s storyline is a gripping read that you won’t want to put down. Their chance meeting and undeniable chemistry reminds me of two people fated to be together one way or another. Argh, I hope their story continues, I have all the feels for Lily and I want to read more of her life.

Great Book

I loved Tristan and Lily's story. This story is fast paced and action-packed packed with steamy scenes as well. This book ends on a cliff hanger. Narrator Christy Lynn did an amazing job.

Lovely!

Tristan sits at his desk writing his second book in the last four years and the thoughts are flying. He's resting out at the lake when the dissonant noise, flashes of light and sheer pain strike to call him on a mission. The exact mission, he never knows, but if he should try to ignore it, there will be severe consequences. Tristan is one of only seven original Grigori of the divine council. Some might say he's an angel, what with the striking wings on his back, while others are certain he's a devil, more in line with his blood and guts responsibilities. He is called to do whatever the power asks of him so he heads out, taking a leap of faith. It has snowed overnight and it's rather isolated at the lake, but he notices a pile of rags in front of him...rags? No, it's a woman who doesn't appear to be breathing. Lilly ran away from the husband who was trying to kill her, and that's where Tristan found her, half dead. He carries her back to the house and does everything he can to make sure she survives. When she wakes, Tristan will prepare her for what comes next when he is summoned, but no amount of readiness could prepare them for what's next to come. This is a special story with characters you come to love. As with the other books in this series, Unlovable speaks to the imagination and makes you think.
Christy Lynn's narration is dynamic and imbued with emotion. She brings life to her characters and depth to the story.

"Midheaven is a place to rest between this world and the next. A special place only a few ever see. Make this place what you want, what you need. Rest, restore your spirit and, when the time is right, decide where you belong, here or there."
