I'm glad I didn't go by prior reviews....

I thought it was gonna be a boring book that was 'clean' and no dialogue between mmc and mfc. This book had low angst but, mucho 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!! I LOVE SARA FIELDS ROMANCES! And this one was no different! You won't be disappointed either! I'm on to the next one in this series!

The spice was spicy!

Through I felt like the story could have been more detailed and drawn out I absolutely loved the spices scenes. They were perfect.

The story line was interesting. Lea and her child ran from her abusive husband. Met Kieran who is the king pin of the Irish Mafia. It was a bit weird for me with their room play..., but the story line kept me there. Not a bad read... just not for me.

Sara Fields does an amazing job with spicy love stories in so many different tropes. This is my first mafia book and I can’t wait to follow the rest of the family’s love stories 🥰
