Drunk customers. Shoplifting raccoons. Otherworldly visitors. As night shift clerk at the 24-hour gas station at the edge of town, Jack has pretty much seen it all.

That is, until his best friend reveals the body of a local politician hidden in the trunk of a car, setting off a chain of events with apocalyptic potential. Soon, Jack finds himself entangled in a supernatural conspiracy involving monster hunters, sociopaths, doomsday cultists, and…garden gnomes?

Armed with nothing but his wits, sarcasm, and alarming amounts of coffee, can Jack stay alive long enough to see another morning shift? Or will he also fall victim to the dark, ancient force infecting the dreams of everyone around him?

One thing’s for sure. He’s not getting paid enough for this.

Not a story by a TickTock vampire

I'm not usually happy when I notice I failed at spelling. I started out looking for the audible sample for a guy named Jack TownSON to see if his nice speaking voice came with a book I was interested in. After the sample got to mutant raccoons...I was sold. I just had to know what brought Mr. Creepypasta into the project....only to realize I still have no idea if I like the writing style of the ticktock vamp because I spelled it wrong. If you're feeling the sample, you like the rest.

Be ready for a roller coaster. All his books are great. Wish he would write more gas station books.

This was hilarious and strange. But for real, what the hell is even happening in this story? It’s a great and entertaining way to pass the time!

Pleasant surprise, refreshing style!

It was very entertaining. Plot twists left and right and the narrator did a great job. Audio quality is not so good and there are very random pauses, but nothing entirely off-putting. I'm looking forward to the next one!
