opening chapter

This story grabs you in the first chapter, yanks you in and you can't stop reading. River and Emory are a great couple with the most unique first meet. love the whole series when I read it, surfing through the audio books, the narration is amazing.

Good book

Overall, it was a pretty decent book. The narrator’s were definitely one of the best parts of this book, but I also really liked how much this book focused on the reality of addiction. What I notice from a lot of Queer books is that the plots mainly focuses on a misunderstanding that could have been solved in like 1 chapter if the main characters just sat down and talked. It gets to point where it’s just annoying, and makes it seem like the author ran out of ideas and just decided to prolong the misunderstanding. Do I recommend? Probably to beginners that aren’t used to this generic plot.

Good but….

I liked this story a lot, the one gripe I have is with the shmexy scenes and how there is no prep at all. Not really realistic. It kinda pulled me out of the scenes. I don’t know.

narration was flat like an AI

I cannot recommend this title due to flat narration. I had to stop it early and will not be continuing.

Well written and real.

I enjoyed their dynamic and how realistic their emotions and conversations came off. Their more intimate scenes weren't overly done either which was nice!
