The temple wants to break me. My success or failure depends on the path I choose. I just hope I find the right one.

In this series, sex is a main part of the story. So if you don’t like in-depth depictions of sex acts, either skip this story or be ready to hit the “skip 30 seconds” button.

With that said, both voice actors did an amazing job of not sensationalizing the narrations of these scenes.

The relationships between the characters and the world Hadley creates are both a treat. It’s both fun and poignant.

It’s a five book series and this is part 2. I very much look forward to the remaining three.

Great continuation

For those that quit because of the “smut” you don’t see the point of the story. They are basically sex workers for the gods. I love the polycule they’ve formed

Was not disappointed

The first book of this series was more of a slow burn. I'm so glad I continued with this one. The character and plot developments continue nicely, and the spice ramps up.

I am completely infatuated with Narie and really hope she ends up with her God

Great 2nd book

I loved this book when it came out and adding narration just makes it better.

Both narrators did a fantastic job bringing this book to life and taking on all the different characters.

I am so looking forward to the next book.
