Fast-paced and engaging (mostly)
I loved this fast-paced, suspenseful thriller until I reached the big twist, which happened close to the ending. I had to play it twice to be sure I understood it correctly--what a major disappointment! Yeah, I never would have guessed it--but why ruin a very good storyline with such a silly, far-fetched change in direction. I won't even comment on the final chapter. Overall rating: 3.5 stars rounded up

Save your credit. Not as good as her other stories
I have really enjoyed Freida’s other stories. This one though, I had to keep rewinding to see if I had missed something. It seemed like new characters were introduced and it got so confusing and just frustrating at that point. It lost me several times. Listen to any of her other books and save your credit

Haven't read a lot of this author's books and loving them, you never know what to expect next, as the story unfolds. Brilliant! The characters and narration very good. Will definitely be looking out for more.

Extra Time
I had a difficult time following who was who. Using the terms “NewGirl” and “The Ex” made it extra difficult. I played it a second time taking notes. But it the ending I found why it was necessary. A good book.

I enjoyed the twists!
Were the twists outlandish? Maybe, were they entertaining? Definitely! This book got me through a really long data entry project with it's contrived plot. Give it a try, especially if it is on sale.

Didn’t see that coming!
I started with one Freda McFadden’s books and go from one to the other nonstop! I love the unexpected endings and all of them, this one tops the cake!
