Serious cliffhanger!

There is a lot going on in this book and at times it was a challenge to keep everything straight. Overall good but I hate cliffhangers like this!

Very Good

I enjoyed listening however if you listened to Deceptive Vows it’s similar. But great performance from narrators and the storyline, Another great one from Faith Summers.

A SUSPENSE-FILLED BLOODY & BEAUTIFUL BRATVA MUST

Wow, I’ve just finished this phenomenal listen and I’m des..per..ate to start book 2 because the cliffhanger here was brutal.. BRUTAL. It’s got everything I love and crave from a Russian Mafia story.. plus much more. The twisted web with so many secrets and revelations.. the Mafia layers with their pawns and players.. the evil villains and their bloody plans and body counts - just wow again. And they’re all tightly woven together around a forced arranged marriage between doomed soulmates on different sides.

Aria and Lucca.. it was sweet and beautiful when they used to secretly meet as innocent naive children. It was a different feeling altogether when sexual attraction sparked as they danced years later. However, now it’s sizzles, friction and fire between the avenging Bratva Killer and the captive daughter of someone he hates. It’s something all-consuming in a forced marriage to the woman who lost her memories of everything she once knew.. and to the damaged revenge-fuelled man who’d survived the bloody carnage of his family’s annihilation years previously. Then, the wicked do as they do.. and the brave bend but don’t break.. and the revelations hit.. and the count of the dead climbs. The woman with no memories starts to remember shocking truths.. and the killer’s once dead heart starts to beat again.. and it was beautiful for just a few short hours. And then bam more brutal twisted revelations with devastating consequences that left me reeling. However my heart.. my heart.. my heart at the shocking betrayal and bloodshed that stained the cliffhanger in pools of blood.

I desperately want to continue to the next book now but I swore at the clock and stopped looking at it when its disapproving face told me it was way passed 2 am all because I’m a weak willed woman. But I so am when it comes to Mafia mayhem, true love, the reformation of a drool-worthy sexy Russian Bratva Assassin and the woman who awaken his cold dead heart. (Maybe I should just throw out the clock!) And the awesome dual pov narration was phenomenal and faultless too as the characters, feels, tense drama, sizzles, sex, tender and touching and suspenseful edge-of-your seat hold your breath angst and action came to life thanks to them making this a very VERY difficult to stop. Kale, your sexy alpha Russian accent.. deeelicious 😜🥰.

Worth a credit? Definitely.. great world-building of a violent world of revenge, retribution, rules, remorse and redemption where a broken, toxic forced marriage turns into a beautiful romance but breaks on a nasty cliffhanger.

Romance and suspense

This is a nice combination of romance, mystery and suspense. The plot was complicated enough to keep the reader guessing as to what would happen next and wondering who the bad guys were. There were some surprises. Not a predicable story at all.
I really enjoyed it.

Very decent story duet

At least this author has the Russian male with an accent. I hate books that say they are Irish, Italian, Scottish etc with a crappy narrator or no accent . I like this book and I’ve already bought the second. It has mystery and intrigue and of course some steam. So it was worth a credit I’ve saved for a while to me.

One of the best!

Love from childhood—Peter Pan and Wendy. Second chances while the FMC is amnesic due to an accident. Lucas's personality is totally different from other books. He is strong, bold, and a musician! Twists and turns from every angle with a HEA.

Holy 🐮!

Not gonna lie. I wasn’t sure about this one. Instead, I read all the way through and quite quickly, if I may add. Some many twists and turns. I don’t even know who to trust. Narrators are 👍🏽👍🏽! On to the next one. Also, I want a Marilyn in my life!

Excellent Story and Narration But It Ends With A Cliffhanger

Gripping story, action oriented mafia romance with multiple plot twists. Narration is excellent. They should have explained that it ends with a cliffhanger to set expectations.

I do not like cliffhangers. Story should finish in one book, otherwise feels like soap opera. Narrators were wonderful.

Wow great listen

Enjoyed the Narration. Found the story exciting, shocking, intense, action, romance. The ending was a shocker and a Cliffhanger so be prepared to get the 2nd book!
