Publisher's summary

If granted just one wish, what would you choose? Money? Fame? Power? Love?

The world could be your oyster, if you were willing to take the chance.

But choose wisely and prepare for the consequences. Everything has its price. Can you afford it?

Be careful what you wish for. And remember, smiling faces tell lies...

Noah & Josh

The entire world witnessed their fight for love. Obstacles were beaten and won. They were living their best lives.

Wait? Is that all? Is that the end? Seriously, did you really think it would be that easy? Oh, hell no. Their story is just beginning.

Josh and Noah are navigating the twists and turns of their newly public relationship...to varying degrees of success.

When they are lured into the trappings of Hollywood's influence, they end up on the rollercoaster ride of their lives.

Strap on your seatbelt and get ready for a bumpy ride. You will need to hold on tight.

Temptation, by any measure, is a fickle beast. And when you are given the world on a silver platter, it's downright wicked. Truth, lies, fame, fortune.

All bonds will be tested.

Will the binds that ground them finally break?

A MUST LISTEN/READ

I felt like I was watching a really great Gen Z soap opera. This book has everything; drama, action, angst, steam, and humor. It’s well written and superbly narrated. Make sure you read book 1 to get the most enjoyment. I would love to read more about Noah and Josh.

MM Angsty Romance

My first T.L. Bradford book, and I do not believe it will be my last. First, I did not read the first in the series, and while I was not lost, I do think I would have enjoyed this more with reading the first. I received an Audio ARC, so that is why I read out of order, as it was stated could be read as standalone, and I agree, but see above. Next, this book had a ton of drama, it was honestly a bit OTT, and I lost enjoyment reading, as there was just sooo much drama. Drama everywhere. This is L.A. in the acting community, so perhaps this is the norm, but it was too much. Next, honestly I am not sure how I feel about either MC...so that is kind of rough. I did not dislike the story though, and the last like 10% I truly enjoyed and probably the first 10% I really enjoyed. The in between was plum full of the drama with the MCs as well as everyone else, and honestly I just did not feel the love between the MCs until the end. I felt love from one and the other separately at different times, but just not together most of the time. Corey Bennson did the narration, and I thought it was well done, and would listen to more by this narrator. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for this type of story.

Audio ARC provided and this is my honest review.

the continuation of Noah and Josh’s story

I loved this couple in the first book and am so happy to have more Noah and Josh. This book has a lot of emotion and their struggles are really well written. They fought so hard to for each other in the first book and now they have to fight just as hard to keep each other in this book. There’s something wonderful about this author’s writing that pulls you inside the book and keeps you captivated the whole time. Corey H. Bennson’s narration was well done.

Will Love Last for Noah and Josh?

First, I did not read Book 1 in this series. While I do think that it would give the reader a fuller experience of the relationship between Josh and Noah by reading the 1st book, I also feel that this book can stand on its own.

Noah and Josh have been together for some time when adulting starts to get in the way. Noah goes to Thailand to shoot a movie and Josh is given an opportunity to jump-start his writing career. Misunderstandings, miscommunication and bad advice from a friend make the physical and emotional distance that has sprung up between them even harder to bridge. Will the difficulties be too much to overcome, or will their love bring them back together?

TL Bradford gives readers a wonderfully realistic glimpse into what is a rarity in the romance genre–the established relationship. Bradford shows the difficulties of sustaining a relationship after the happily-ever-after. Through all the angst, anger, tears, insecurity and compromise, Noah and Josh work to create their true happy ending.

Bradford’s secondary characters are also a highlight of the book. I love the gang of friends that Josh and Noah have surrounded themselves with. It is obvious that they all love and support each other. It makes the story that much more real.

This is my first listen to a narration by Corey H Bennson. His voice-acting is brilliant. He delivers a marvelously emotional interpretation of Bradford’s story. He’s definitely now on my must-listen list of narrators. I look forward to hearing more performances from him.

This review is written voluntarily subsequent to my request and receipt of a free ARC.

Very good

Loved this one from TL Bradford, the second novel in The Young Americans Series! It was compelling, had an excellent storyline and the main characters were fantastic! It does help to read the first novel in the series but this works as a standalone fairly well. Really liked this narrator, I see great things in his future!

good story

This is the story of the journey of Josh and Noah. It explores the ups and downs of their relationship. Great development in the characters. Can’t always trust your friends. Very good, lots of angst, sweet, romantic, and easy to listen to story. Corey H. Bennson is a new to me narrator, did a good job!

DNF at 3 hours in

The blurb and title drew me in; the actual story was a painful experience. At 11 hours and 20 minutes, this is a fairly long book. Given what I did listen to, I can't imagine what could be interesting enough about these characters and their story to fill another 8 hours.

The drama was way over the top. Seriously, soap opera levels. The emotions and feelings fluctuated so often that I got whiplash. One minute, MC1 is so in love with MC2 that he wants to marry him. The next, he's questioning their relationship. MC2 misses MC1 so much, one minute. Then, MC2 is annoyed with MC1's clinginess. These wishy-washy feelings veer from one extreme to the other and back again numerous times. Figure it out, guys!

This story seems to be filled with toxic relationships not just between the MCs. The minor characters meddle and cause their own unnecessary drama. I just didn't get anyone's motivation.

There is also a lot of telling rather than showing, and the use of the words "rod" and "member" would have been funny had the author intended so.

I did enjoy the narrator, who was new to me. Great voice and inflection.

I would recommend to those considering reading True Faith to read the first book in this series, Just Like Heaven, as there is reference to some important events in Book 2.
