Michèle is desperate to contribute significantly to the case, but her doubts deepen as the threat of another death looms over the investigation. Each day is direr and each bad lead or missed piece of evidence gives the killer time to pick their next victim or possibly give them a chance to escape justice forever.

10/10 the five star rating isn’t enough

I enjoyed the narrators approach to accents, the story has a unique twist at the end that left me excited to continue chapter by chapter.
