Distracting narration

The voice for Carson is distracting. Either needs a different narrator or two readers for each male lead.

Cute, romantic, sexy and funny!

The perfect book to put you into vacation mood! Sam and Carson may start as fake boyfriends, but their connection is both explosive and profound and I love that they really take the time to get to know each other, and they progress from a fake to real relationship almost flawlessly, with no grand gestures or big drama moments!
The thing I love best is how they present a united front, always being there for each other o listen, support and cheer up!
Jack Watson’s narration took me a bit to “adjust” to. It’s a bit over-the-top, or “dramatic”, you know, and I am more used to a more … sedate kind of narration, but in the end it’s really good and it brings you INTO the story, you laugh, cry and snort out laugh together with the characters!

Enjoyed the story...

I originally read this book back when it was first published for the Kindle. I thoroughly enjoyed the fake boyfriend to blossoming romance trope. I still enjoyed the story as an audio. However, to me, the narrator didn't fit the story. There were a lot of parts where, as he voiced Carson, I felt he tried too hard to make the voice sound different & it came off as too harsh & guttural sounding. I think with the right narrator, this could be a stunning audio.

Awesome book!

Carson and Sam's story is a happy-ever-after story that will make you laugh. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was good allowing a person to easily tell who was talking at any given time. I will definitely read more of Claire Castle's books!
