Had to drop

The female narrator ruined this for me. She gave no life to the character. And I felt like I was drunk listening to this. The way they bounce back and forth from the past to present but only give dates for the present at the beginning of each chapter. Made it so hard to follow. I was so lost! Performance gets 3⭐️ because Patrick Zeller is always outstanding!

Female Narrator Ruins It!

The female narrator sounds like a 12 year old reading a steamy romance novel it’s a shame because I got this audio book for Patrick Zeller who has a sexy voice and is perfect for these novels. Patrick does the female narrator voice better and more convincingly than she does! I might have liked this story otherwise.
