Chemistry With a Side of Vulnerability

Sam is back on the ranch and an old flame is being rekindled. Sam and Tucker are stubborn and vulnerable, and their chemistry is explosive. The performance by the narrators was top notch, a solid story, my only issue (and it’s been my issue throughout the entire series) is when the characters give their excuses of why things won’t work, but it full on contradicts what they are actually doing. Also, the way the author handled Sam coming out of the closet to his family was absolutely perfect.

The bonus material included was just the cherry on top. The novella telling Mama’s love story, the sneak peak for Sera’s book, and the first couple chapters of Ignite (Travis’s story).

I just adore the Ryker family and couldn't wait for Sam & Tucker's book. Each book in this series is unique with their storyline and this book is no exception.
Sam has only loved one person in his life and he thought that love was rejected. He left town to pursue his dreams but years later he returned to the family and the ranch. Tucker is like family, he's been with the Rykers for years and he and Sam sparked immediately.
This is not just a typical hot cowboy story, but also a journey of understanding, awareness and discovery. As much as I love Sam, I love Tucker even more.
Teddy & Aaron are fantastic as Tucker & Sam and Kim does an amazing job writing this MM love story.

The last Ryker brother finally gets his second chance love story in Roped Tight. Kim Loraine has delivered not one but two sexy cowboys in this MM story with Sam Ryker, who has finally returned home, and Tucker Weston. These two have insane chemistry that burns up the pages while reading and keeps you wanting more of them even after their story has come to an end. Plus we get to see more of the entire Ryker family.

All the narrators did a wonderful job conveying these characters in this story. They brought this story to life playing Sam and Tucker and all the other side roles with the differentiation needed to separate each person. I would listen to another book narrated by any one of the narrators.

Another Ryker to Fall For

In this beautifully written M/M romance we finally get Sam Ryker’s story. We didn’t see much of Sam in the previous books and now we know why. After his first heartbreak, Sam left the ranch to pursue his career in the bull riding circuit only coming home when necessary. Now with the recommendation to retire from his passion, Sam is home for good. He is now to work with his first love on the show Saddle Up. Find out what happens when they finally come clean with their feelings.

Kim Loraine wrote a beautiful story for Sam and Tucker. I’m using not one for M/M romances, but I really swooned for these two cowboys. Kim’s cowboys are so sexy and swoony. There is drama, love, and fiery hot passion between two enemies that become lovers.

Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton are fantastic together on this audio. They both are gritty cowboys but are so sweet and swoon-worthy when needed. We also get a special guest appearance from the lovely Stella Hunter. As always, she is perfect as all the females in the duet.

MM Cowboy Romance

3 stars for the story & 5 stars for this wonderful audio so overall 4 stars!

This was a good book. I really liked both the friends to lovers/second chance trope. I also really liked both Tucker & Sam they made for really great MC's. I think perhaps it was just too surface for me. I wanted to feel more and really get into the nitty gritty a bit, and we just did not get that. Yes, we saw the heartbreak for a beat and then we saw them come back together after 10 years apart, but I didn't really have any time to feel any of it. It was still good though, and I would recommend for anyone looking for a light read with characters you will really adore and side characters galore that you will also adore.

Perfect narrator pairing!

My first book by Kim Loraine and I picked it up solely on the basis of the 2 male narrators, who happen to be one of my favorite duos! Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton can do no wrong, at least when it comes to my ears.
This was a sweet second chance romance- Sam and Tucker were meant to be.
This is the fifth book in the Sunrise Cowboys series, and although you definitely know you're missing things from the previous books, I feel like there's no issue reading this as a standalone. I did fall in love with the Ryker family so maybe one day I'll go back and read the rest of the series.

Loved

I have enjoyed all of the Ryder stories in this series. This one was one of my favorites as Sam and Tucker are the perfect couple, Teddy and Aaron are both amazing narrators and then you add in Stella Hunter and they all bring the story alive. Can tell that Kim has enjoyed writing this series. Was a nice way to spend the day listening while I was at work and driving around.

Kim Loraine gives us another wonderful, heart warming story with Roped Tight. It was comforting and satisfying with just enough hit-you-in-the-feels moments. This was a great round up to the Ryker brother's stories.

The audio was full of great performances by Aaron Shedlock, Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter. Aaron does a great job with all the Ryker men, each of them so smooth and charming. Stella adds a great element to the story by giving us the kick-ass women of the Ryker series (we all know that Mama Ryker rules all)! And Teddy - OMG where has Cowboy Teddy been hiding??? He brought serious 🔥 to this audio. Teddy and Aaron had great chemistry!

If you haven't tried them yet, you need to take the Ryker boys for a ride!

This book was everything and MORE

This is probably one of my top 10 audiobooks of all time. The story, the narration, it is a complete package. Kim Lorraine has a way of creating characters and worlds that immediately suck you in and make you feel everything you're feeling. Then when you add the incredible talent of Aaron, Teddy and Stella? Man, it's game over. Sam and Tucker have a rocky relationship and through their heart and redemption, your heart just swells and feels for them. If I could give it more stars, I absolutely would. Thank you Kim for writing such amazing books.

Angst and a sweet story

Wow! Sam and Tucker’s second chance love story was everything I wanted it to be. Add in Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock’s amazing performance and this was an absolutely amazing listen. All the stars. There was the perfect mix of angst and heart, with moments of humor that lightened things. When Sam’s siblings found out he was gay, that scene was priceless and Mama was every bit as amazing as she always is. Tucker and Sam were both so darn stubborn and sweet that you were rooting hard for them the entire time, but also dying for them to just talk and work through the past. Oh man. Also, this story was a bit spicier than the other books and I was here for it. Those two flirted so much.

Ten years ago, sparks flew between Sam and Tucker and they spent an unforgettable trip alone in the mountains fixing up Sam’s dad’s new cabin. With Sam’s bull riding career on the precipice of taking off, Tucker pushes him away. Sam walks away from the ranch, never looking back but also never forgetting the man who stole his heart. When his bull riding days end, Sam is pulled back to the ranch when his family needs him. However, Tucker is still at the ranch and the fire between them won’t stay stoked for long.

Man these guys were frustratingly selfless and I loved how their anger simmered into some serious heat between them. What made this story even more special was Aaron and Teddy’s emotional performances that gave so much feeling to the story. And let me just say, I love some angst. This story delivered all the feels, a sweet love story, and really showed why the Ryker family is amazing. I can’t recommend this series enough, especially in audio.
