  • Jade Benning | The Secret Pregnancy, The Missing Cup & A Deadly Date Night (Part 1)
    Sep 11 2026

On the night of February 25th, 2023, 24-year-old Jade Benning called one of her oldest and closest friends. She wasn't calling to catch up. In fact, for much of the call, it seemed as if Jade wasn't even speaking to her friend, and instead, this friend listened as Jade confronted the man standing inside her apartment with her: Blaise Taylor, a man who jade had recently reconnected with. A man who's child she was carrying. A man who would later call himself her boyfriend. Jade sounded confused, her speech was becoming rapidly impaired; she said she couldn't feel her legs. And then she asked Blaze a question that would eventually become the center of a murder investigation: What did you put in my drink?

    Sep 9 2026

On September 4, 2026, a Plymouth Superior Court jury was deadlocked after days of deliberation in the trial of Lindsay Clancy, the Duxbury mother charged with killing her three children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan, in January 2023. Her defense argued she lacked criminal responsibility due to severe postpartum psychosis.

Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial after the jury said it could not reach a unanimous decision.

There are some people who disappear all at once - One day, they're there, and the next day, they're gone. But sometimes, a person disappears slowly. So slowly that the people who love them don't realize what's happening until they look back and understand that they had been losing them for years. 32-year-old Sonia Exelby was the youngest of six children, and for much of Sonia's life, there were people who loved her very much. But somewhere along the way, Sonia began slipping away from them.

At first, it looked like depression. Then isolation. She stopped going out, stopped answering invitations. Stopped letting people in. Until eventually, much of Sonia's world existed through a screen. Online, she could be whoever she wanted to be. She could talk to strangers about the things she was afraid to tell the people who loved her - but listening and helping are not always the same thing...

I absolutely adore Stephanie and have come to like Derrick as well. I love the deep deep dives, as i'm someone who WANTS all the insignificant details. Stephanie is INCREDIBLE with her research and I enjoy the police insight from Derrick. This is my comfort podcast.
