Democrats won the House and the Senate on Nov. 3. They flipped Senate seats in Texas, South Carolina, and Kansas. James Talarico beat Ken Paxton by about 12 points to become the first Democrat Texas has sent to the Senate since 1988.

California mailed a ballot to every registered voter for the Nov. 3 election. Federal officials flagged about 20,000 of those voters as likely noncitizens. The Justice Department gave Los Angeles County 48 hours to review the list and set those ballots aside, not cancel them. California refused, and DOJ sued.

Heather Honey, senior counselor to Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, joins Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers to walk through the numbers. About 25 states ran their voter rolls through the free SAVE system and found almost 500,000 dead registrants and about 30,000 noncitizens. More than half the states refused to run the check. Many of those same states send Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and full motor vehicle files to ERIC, a private NGO, every 60 days.
