Rough Love

I love the history with the MC's in this story. I hate the H had so many years of heartbreak over a misunderstanding but it all works out in the end. This is a very rough sexy story so if that is your cuppa, this is it. Narrator did amazing.

2nd Chance Romance!!

Spectacularly Hot Romance!! This story is extremely well written and narrated. The storyline is amazing with a reverse on the characters. The heroine is from the wrong side of the tracks (so to speak). She is forced to leave the only place she considers her home. The hero in the story gets his heart broken and leaves town. This story is action packed with adventure, suspense, mystery, intrigue and erotic romance. Which makes it all the more Hotter!

The narrator(WOW) is Fan-freaking-tastic! Jack is amazing! He does an excellent job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters and voices of each character.

All Alpha and totally hot!!

Hoss is positively sinful. This alpha sets hard rules for Remi but she knows she will comply because he is the one that she has always craved and the only one able to keep her safe. So great to watch sweet Remi take him down a notch. The narrators voice draw you into the story and make you feel the emotions of the characters. Everyone needs a Hoss.

Short rough romance

Short and mostly rough romance. would have liked to have a bit more meat in the story to make it seem more than formula. However, the narration by Jack Callahan elevates the formula to a step above. I received a free copy of this title for an honest review.

Great story. It was filled with so much passion and drama. It was a great mystery story and a love story with a little bit of controlling men, and a submissive female. I love Jack as your narrator. He has a very sexy voice.

Great story - even better narration

Delta James did a great job with this book. Hoss started in on Remy as soon as she arrived at his house by setting the rules. Hoss is a dominant alpha who would quickly punish by spanking then having mind-blowing sex with her. Remy was on the run from someone who wanted her dead. They had already killed her roommate and framed her. In addition to claiming her body, Hoss vowed to protect her. This was a fast-paced, suspenseful, hot book. Hoss and Remy end up on the run from the killer or killers until Hoss' old team arrived to assist them. There was lots of suspense in this book. Remy was foolish in some of her actions. Good thing she had Hoss and his team.

Morgan and Remi

As the high school prom comes and goes, and Remi is not there as she should be, Morgan takes his place and joins the military. Years later, she is in danger, and the first place she thinks of going is 1000 miles away right to Morgan/Hoss. Now a man, he is willing to protect her, but she will have to take what he gives her to stay safe. Spankings and spreading her legs on command is the payment. Hoss is a rough man, but he knows what he wants. A woman who understands her place. With danger lurking, is Remi willing to do what it takes? And how does she feel about it? I have to say, while at times, it is really rough, Delta James gives us a great story. The action, the danger and the love are all apparent and it's a fun listen.

Jack Calihan is amazing. His narration of this book is spot on. Hoss is a character, and his voice needs to be commanding. Calihan has that edge that gives Hoss the power. He turns around in the next breath and is Remi, with a wonderfully strong, and stubborn woman. His talent is incredible. I enjoyed his portrayal of the story.

Okay

I really, really struggled with this story. While the bones of it were good and it had major potential, the details were greatly lacking in my opinion. If an author is going to write about dominance and submission there needs to be a foundation of trust built. Built between the characters and in Turn the reader feels that trust there too. It wasn’t there.. at all. I spent 97% of the book pissed as h*ll at the H. Honestly this book borders on abuse.

The narration was good. Though there were times I wanted to just say come on man spit it out overall I would listen to this narrator again.

Delta James has another amazing hot audiobook. Check it out. JT Farrell was great as well.

Great narration

Hoss is an entertaining, fast-paced, and very steamy second chance romance. The storyline captured and held my attention from start to end. The characters are fabulous, and their chemistry is electrifying. I liked that they had a history, it allowed for a more of an intense connection. Remi and Morgan (Hoss), dated in high school. Remi was the prom queen, and Hoss had a promising football career ahead of him. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and their path altered. Remi pursued a career as a chef, and Hoss joined the military. Death of a friend and a police investigation sends Remi back to Hoss, the one person who can protect her.

A marvelous performance by Jack Calihan. He is an exceptionally talented narrator with the ability to modify his voice to best suit the characters, emotions, and situations. Overall, this was a great story with outstanding narration. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
