A brilliant paranormal thriller-horror novel

I expected this book to be another okay paranormal action book, like many others. What I got was so much better. This is a paranormal thriller-horror novel, in the style of Laurel K Hamilton’s Anita Blake novels and Jim Butchers Dresden files. It’s dark, gritty and underlying fascinating. It’s an page turner where you both can’t stop reading, and at the same time you are afraid to read on. It’s brilliantly written, with deeply developed characters, and a female antagonist who are changed by the things she experiences. For a while, it will have you looking at shadows wondering if something are hiding in them, and if the world are what we think it is, or something more.
The narrator of the Audio version is fantastic. It can’t have been easy to preform this book but Cassandra King does it anyway, and brilliantly.
The book can be read as a stand alone, even though it’s part of a series, but I think that once you get started, you are going to want to read/listen to the others as well. This is a book suitable for the ages 18+

Different Kind Of Story

This was a very different story from what I have read before. It starts fast and keeps going from there. The whole concept the author used is something I have never read before. I enjoyed the entire story from start to finish. The narrator did an awesome job during the entire story. I love dragons but this story portrayed them in an entirely different light, that could disturb some people, but others will like it. There is a mystery here and I can’t wait to find out how it develops from here.

Nite Fire

Nite Fire: Flash Point (Volume 1) AUDIO BOOK by C.L. Schneider was such a great listen. I loved the world and character development. Such an intricate world with so many actors. Dahlia just came to life for me. The narrator was great at bringing characters to life and made dialogue easy to follow along. The twists and turns kept me on my toes, I had no idea what would happen next!

Being new to Sifi i enjoyed this story. the narrator was very good too. i look forward to the next book

My Next Serial-Obsession!

I’ve been looking for my next serial obsession, and I think I just found it! Nite Fire: Flash Point took me on a roller coaster ride through a new world and mystery. Dahlia Nite, hiding from her own race, now lives in the human world as a protector of sorts. A new murder has her attention, providing pieces to a puzzle Dahlia never saw coming, and brings up even more questions that she had never ventured to ask. As the world of this new series begins to take shape and readers are drawn deeper into the life of Dahlia Nite, you’ll be led deep into the mystery surrounding and threatening the existence of more than just one race. Nite Fire: Flash Point will take you down the rabbit hole and out the other side to what I’m hoping will be a just as exciting and riveting ride into the next book.

Entertaining

A well written story filled with well written characters that will grab your attention and keep it throughout the entire story. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing this book to life and kept my attention.

A great listen

So many twist and turns keeps you on edge of every word. I absolutely love this book.

Very Good Fantasy book!

This is a very good audio. If you like dangers, dragons, mystery with a strong female character this is for you! I loved Dahlia’s snappy no nonsense attitude. She is quite bad azz! When Dahlia escapes her own execution and flees her home, she lives then among the human population. There are murders in Sentinal City and she tries to help solve them while not revealing whom she is. Love the mystery and twists in this story. The narrator is fantastic in this audio!

Dahlia Nite was more

Dahlia Nite was one badass with a heart of sorts. She had some standards and morals. She did what no one was expecting from her. She became the protector of the world she sot out refuge in. Dahlia was strong, determined, and well worth the listen. She was the light in the night or should I say nite. Well written, well narrated, well-rounded characters that had depth and dimension. The world was well captivated and visualized.

Right from the start. Some may feel like this moves too slow. Speed up the audio is my recommendation. Or you may just need to really pay attention. This world was rich and filling. You will find a protector with more than the skill to back her up. She was compassionate, determined, skilled, and driven. Where will things go next. I really, really want to know. So, yes I will be there when it comes out.

Dragon shifter urban fantasy

Flash Point: Nite Fire, Volume 1 by C.L. Schneider

A dragon/human shifter fantasy that I instantly loved and had to listen each day as long as I could. The characters and the detailed description of the different dragon shifters captivated me from the beginning. Dahlia Nite has spent almost a century living among earth pretending to be human. She works hard keeping the humans safe from the dangers of dragon kind roaming the earth. After all this time, she is finding more and more troublesome creatures traveling to earth and destroying the very peace she is trying to uphold.

The narrator, Cassandra King did a wonderful job. She added excitement, empathy, concerns, and everything else the characters faced.

I throughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next volume in the series!
