All day, every day, she had her phone on, and she waited for the call that would summon her to someone whose deceased loved one was draining or terrifying them. Each one called for separate techniques, and she got very good, very quickly.

Her sister’s engagement complicates Hecate’s life, as she is suddenly visible to the paranormal society, at large, with her introductory visit to Oak Point Way. The Nexus Guard is friendly, the gnomes are frisky, and the pixies are a flying menace. Ghosts were a breeze next to the paranormal.

What a great concept for a story .The only thing I would change in this book Is that I wish it was longer.

Unique story and thrilling adventure

I loved the main Character.... funny, strong, smart, wise and kind. such a super hero for family , so powerful in her craft. i won't go on, but i could, lol. The introduction of the nexes group creates intrigue for the the future stories of this series.

Annoying.

No one uses conjunctions in this world? Is this the way the author believes people speak? It's unrealistic and really annoying. I will/we have not/I will not, etc....Viola, guess what? People use conjunctions!!! Whodathunkit? Not Ms Grace, certainly. Her characters sound awkward and out of sync with the century. Big Yuk.
