History played out

Her stories are very informative and come to life. It makes you appreciate women from decades ago to help pave the way for future generations.

What an inspirational lady

I love that Marie brings women's contributions to history to the forefront. Clementine was the glue that held Winston and the country together. Her contributions were not widely known. Although I know she regrets her lack of closeness to her own children, she was a mother to the country. What an inspirational lady.

Everyone knows and admires Winston Churchill, but no one knows the great influence behind him. This book does just that.
