Very Good Mystery

This book is well-written and -plotted. The characters are well-fleshed-out and believable; the mystery was complicated and interesting. To me, it seemed slightly more hard-boiled than cozy. Well worth the read!

Exciting and fast-paced, with a dash of humor

This book in the Pineapple Port series is exciting and fast-paced, with a dash of humor in all the right places. The characters we have gotten to know continue to develop as secrets unfold.

A Floridian’s note to the narrator: The store, Bealls, is actually pronounced Bells. All tourists get that wrong. The A in the logo looks like a bell. I don’t think the store was mentioned in this book, but it is mentioned a few times in previous books where it was mispronounced. It’s a Florida thing.

Pineapple Disco

Pineapple Port in my opinion is the place to be. Check out the other books all of them are exciting and I can't stop reading till the end. why does Jackie own a secret Disco? Why does Gloria need Charlotte to find a missing man who sends her messages on his tee shirts. Then there's Stephanie a serial killer or lawyer? These book's are funny.

Such a great, quick listen! I loved the characters and the interesting storyline. Now that I’m hooked, I need to go check out the other books in this fun series!

Action Packed

Drug dealers get involved with the Pineapple Disco and there is a lot of action with Charlotte, a woman over 50 who is a detective helping her friend Jackie with problems when violent violent criminals intent on claiming the club as their own. More problems for Charlotte is the two cases between Declan who has a secret past with Stephanie, an assassin hired by the competition.
