Publisher's summary

When Nickie receives a plea for help, she does what any young rebel on a sabbatical would do.

She ignores it.

Little does she know quite who and what happen to follow the message.

One volcanic labyrinth, a rock monster, and a hike with a new team later, she finds herself on a new mission of her own. And this time, she has no idea what’s in store for her.

Meanwhile her Aunt Tabitha’s diary tells the tales of escapades that serve as lessons and warnings about allowing ones’ preconceptions to flavor Tabitha’s assumptions.

For Hirotoshi and Ryu, it’s a full time job to keep Ranger 2 on the straight and narrow while not rounding up the one alien Tabitha is absolutely positive is responsible.

Plus, there are fights.

Because, with Tabitha around, there are always fights.

Join Nickie and the Kurtherian Gambit’s original Ranger 2, Tabitha, on a rip-roaring, brawling adventure to save the frontier from slavery, shenanigans, and the Skaine of the universe.

Stick around for the authors’ notes.

As usual the writing duo’s done it again only to lose my interest by the reader. Kate Rudd has improved in her use of military jargon but I think that I am too used to Emily Beresford’s performance of BA. That being said, I love her (Kate’s) portrayal of Tabitha. She does the Latino accent perfectly and brings me to tears laughing at Tabby’s antics. Keep up the good work.

Inside the Heart ❤️

I’m addicted to all the KG series and books but I love getting to see the heart of what Tabitha and the Guys mission’s was about. Nikki is a interesting character a bit selfish especially knowing her family. I’m still trying to understand why she’s so angry and why she hates her grandfather John Grimes for teaching her how to fight when she is surprise always wanting to fight. Still l want more....
Highly recommend

Prince meets Princess?

Love the action and adventure in this one. The dynamics between Nikki and John are a nice turn. Grimm afraid of heights? That made me laugh. The team melding and finding their personal strengths is a great step forward. Have noticed that there is less foul language in Nikki's life. I feel BA would not be pleased lol.
Great work team. Keep it up
