intrigung novel.

Great characters, amazing setting, captivating descriptions. Too short. I wanted to keep listening. Good read.

Not my favourite

The storyline wasn't my cup of tea.
I still really like this Author. But this novella wasn't my favourite. I'm impressed with how she can build great characters in such short stories.

Another great story from this author

I was listening to this while on the treadmill, I was planning to break it into 2 sessions but was so involved in the story that I finished it all in one session.

This author has been a favourite of mine since discovering her a year ago and I have yet to be disappointed in any of her works. She writes wonderful strong female characters and manages to weave a storyline that successfully walks the line between taking you away to another world without being unrealistically outlandish. I loved both Sam, Felicia and this intriguing new story.

This is my second book narrated by Amelia Patricks and listening to her voice is starting to feel like getting a call from an old friend.

I would definitely recommend this book.

I enjoyed this story quite a bit. I don't typically read adventure books, so this was a welcome change of pace.

Easy listening

It’s a nice short listen. easy to fit in in an afternoon. The whole story is interesting and keeps a decent flow. The narrator is pleasant and easy on the ears.

interesting and educational

I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed learning about what it takes to pan for diamonds. I liked the friendship between the characters and the romance between the couple.

I was not prepared for the attemoted rape scene. perhaps a warning should be added. over all it is a good story!

Nice little adventure.

The subject matter was refreshing, but the story felt rushed at points and some descriptive words were overused. Narration was good. Didn't like the implication that a woman can't be both pretty and "butch", but overall this story is enjoyable.

Loved it

I would highly recommend listening to this beautiful and exciting story. You can really imagine where the characters are at and how their relationship evolves.

I highly recommend this book and any books by K'Anne Meinel.

Perfect companion for a road trip

Great story line encompassing a little adventure with a smattering of romance. Another fabulous offering from K’Anne Meinel.
