It’s a short sexy story about finding yourself be it feeling alive after a tragedy or coming to terms with your baser desires after tuning them out for 35 years.

I would recommend this for fans of the D/s dynamic, instalove, spanking and to the point story’s that keep your attention.

Dom Gabriel and Glory

Glory writes erotic novels but is still a virgin at age 35. She goes to Gabriel’s BDSM club hoping to experience some of the things she writes about. When Gabriel sees her as she fills out the application, he is immediately drawn to her. Glory is a feisty and sassy woman and she ends up putting herself in danger trying to help a girl from her past when she was a case worker. At least she had enough sense to call the police before she arrived at the scene. Gabriel is part of the swat team who responds to the call. He is so angry with her that he tells her he can’t deal with her and walked away. Glory thinks he left her. When they eventually come back together, Glory’s punishment is severe—both inside and out. This was a good short story. I would have loved if the book were longer to see what happens when Glory tells Gabriel her secret. Very nice ending.

Jack Calihan did a great job with the sexy Gabriel. He has the perfect voice for these sexy books! I was given this free copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Spirited characters

Great book with spirited characters. Really enjoyed the dynamic of this relationship. Brilliant chemistry. Good storyline with plenty of action.

Can Glory and Gabriel navigate their challenges and come out as a couple?

His Girl, His Rules is a romance all about finding your inner needs and going after what you love. Glory is an author with BDSM and erotica themes, but she’s still a virgin. Deciding to be brave, she attends a BDSM club where’s she’s matched to Gabriel, a widower who’s suddenly very attached to Glory. A new relationship, adding in domestic discipline, and a reckless submissive, can Glory and Gabriel navigate their challenges and come out as a stronger couple?

While there wasn’t anything overly shocking about this book, I was still completely engaged in the plot, in the characters, and in their relationship! I wanted to know how Glory would respond to things, and how Gabriel would punish her. They definitely jumped right into their relationship and scenes, and there was a little bit of an insta-lust and insta-love feeling to the book, I really enjoyed Glory and Gabriel. Glory was a little sassy, but just so used to being on her own and everything was so new to her. Gabriel was strict, but never harmed, and he had so much love to give to Glory! Mr. Calihan did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life and I loved that he even acted out some of the motions, like yawning and gasping. This was a great book to listen to and to just lose yourself in their budding love!

A spicy tale of domestic discipline and BDSM......

Hi Girl, His Rules is a very spicy story of Glory, a 35 year-old virgin, and Gabriel, a widower and sexual dominant. Although he works as the member of an elite SWAT team, in his spare time Gabriel is part-owner and trainer in a BDSM club. He lost his wife to cancer and has spent the years since then just trying to get through each day. When he meets Glory while she is researching his club for the romance novel she is writing, Gabriel feels something for the first time in years. Glory is a very likable character, and she doesn't have some deep, dark secret that has kept her from experiencing sex for all these years. However, she is more than willing to break that barrier once she meets Gabriel. The author does a great job of describing just how difficult it would be for two older people completely set in their ways to come together and try to meld their lives into something more than just sex. Throw in a little action at the end of the book, and you have a very entertaining story.

Jack Calihan has a dreamy voice, and he is a perfect choice to narrate erotica. He differentiates subtly but well between male and female characters, and his performance is without flaw. I could honestly listen to this man narrate almost anything, and it would give me tingles.
