Medusa Uploaded by Emily Devenport offers listeners a fast-paced science fiction thriller on the limits of power and control and the knife-edge between killing for revenge or a greater good

My name is Oichi Angelis, and I am a worm. They see me every day. They consider me harmless. And that's the trick, isn't it?

A generation starship can hide many secrets. When an Executive clan suspects Oichi of insurgency and discreetly shoves her out an airlock, one of those secrets finds and rescues her. Officially dead, Oichi begins to rebalance power one assassination at a time and uncovers the shocking truth behind the generation starship and the Executive clans.

The narrator really put a strain on listening to the story. The way she pronounced words like button, mountain, and kitten, was absolutely distracting and juvenile. The story itself was great and would love to see another book in the same universe as it were.

Story is amazing. The performer less so

Odd little story, definitely interesting, and a bit outside of what I usually go for. Certainly not bad, and there was definitely a focus on music and culture that I don’t see often. But definitely odd.

Pretty decent, odd

Interesting concepts with a scattered plot. While adult themes were included, they often still felt over simplified which made the book feel childlike.

The narrator gave the reading a childish vibe, but was consistent throughout the reading. At times, I felt that the reader was tonally portraying the message of the author incorrectly.

Underdeveloped Story and Simplistic Reading
