I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. This book was easy to listen to and is one that I will listen to again. It is full of wisdom and words to live by. The narrator did a great job.

Excellent and timeless work bringing Catholics back to God

This is my third time through the exercises and I find it impacts me differently and powerfully through each evolution. For me, this work brings me back to the core Faith, unadulterated, unapologetic and loaded with inspiration and insight. Highly recommend.

An Excellent Book

I loved the book..... but the mispronounciation of the name of St Augustine over and over and OVER AGAIN......

I could tell the narrator's a protestant "Agus TEEN" is not his name.

What did you love best about Introduction to the Devout Life?

17th century spiritual direction that is completely relevant in today's life and times. Written for those living in the world it can easily be applied not only to one's spiritual growth but to all of our interactions and challenges in the secular world. The narration captures the voice I would imagine for St Francis de Sales and his qualities as a spiritual director. ...intelligent practical, truthful, direct, patient, loving and calming.
