When interstellar singer spy Jack Jones has to solve his own murder on the Shakespeare, things do not go smoothly. First his clone body loses 30 years of memories, and then it starts experiencing strange urges and abilities. As he investigates he discovers brigands, space pirates, and a secret faster-than-light drive, which could push the galaxy into war.
He would sing a song, solve the mystery, and save the day - if only he could remember how.

I couldn’t get past the first couple of chapters. The narrator sounds like an unfeeling robot. His delivery is very broken and unnatural. His character have no distinction and run together. Very painful to listen to.
May have been a good story, but with this guy narrating I’ll never be able to get thru it to find out.

It is a pity because I hate not being able to finish books that I listen to as per request, but I could not for the life of me get over the narration and continue with it.
I do appreciate Lesley L. Smith for providing me with this audiobook but I would advice to get a second narration for it, it really ruined a good book. I wish I had the time to actually read it but I know that with how life is nowadays it just won’t happen. It really saddens me.
I would advice both author and narrator to listen to a lot of audiobooks to have an idea of what things should look like, it seems the basic idea was not even contemplated here.
I received a copy of this book in audio format from the author in exchange for an honest review.
The terrible narration killed this book

I don't think I made it more than 5 to 10 minutes into this book before I had to shut it off. The narration was THAT bad... The sound quality had an odd echo, and the narrator had a halting, robotic cadence to his voice that was almost disorienting. I really wanted to like this book... I really did... but buy it in print, don't waste the credit on the audio book, unless it gets re-recorded.
AWFUL narrator!

This is probably the worst narration I've ever heard of an audiobook. It was so bad that I was wondering whether a text-to-Speech engine is used for the narration. The voice was very robotic and didn't sound natural. The speech pattern was uncanny. All different characters had the same voice, same pitch. Couldn't go past the first few chapters.
Worst narration
