FUN & FUNNY

WITCHY SOUR is the second book in the Magic and Mixology series. They do need to be read in the order of release.

There isn’t anything about this book that I don’t love! Family, friends, mystery, romance, ups, downs, twists, and turns. It was fun. It was funny. It was romantic and it was suspenseful.

The author writes at a pace that kept me captivated and glued to the steering wheel as I listened. The dialogue is clever with a lot of sass, sarcasm, and a bit snark (which I love). The mystery is well plotted and kept me guessing. Plus the witchy elements (along with the other supernaturals) had me smiling, nodding, and giggling with delight.

I have loved listening to this series so far and will continue to purchase episodes as long as I have an Audible membership.

Cute story, bad narration can ruin a good book

Not as much magical mystery as i'd hoped but overall it was okay. Narrator did not fit the story. At times i felt the narrator had no inflection or excitement in her voice when it was obvious she should have. Turned off narration & switched to having Alexa read from Kindle, even THAT was better than narration. Will not be reading more of this series if the narrator remains the same.

I loved hearing more about Lily's time on the island. The first book in this series was good and I really enjoyed getting the into to magic. This book though just throws you into it all and there's so much going on that it is all exciting. I loved all the twists that this story took and I can't wait to continue bring shocked and excited by this series.

best series in a long time!! a must read.

Suspense, romance humor all rolled together in a great magical adventure. a must read for all ages!
