Good Book!

This third installment of the Masters and Mercenaries series was really good. Liam is hot and take charge. Avery had self esteem issues but she overcame them with the help of Liam. I would recommend this along with the first two books.

A Dom is Forever is the 3rd book in LB series Masters and Mercenaries, but it can be read as a standalone.

Secret agents, spy’s, rouge CIA agents, action packed angst, covert operations with men who are undercover for a security company (McKay- Taggert) but also have a sassy, dominant and sexy side, why yes please sign me up. This series has me in a chokehold.

Liam and Avery have been through so much in the past. He’s trying to remember a deadly event that made him flee and she’s trying to forget the day her life changed forever.
She’s in London for a job, her boss is shady(what a plot twist), and Liam’s new target.

Their instant attraction is irresistible. They are so hot together. She definitely was not on Liam’s radar. She insecure and reserved but Liam gets her out of her shell. His rough exterior is shed when he’s around Avery. They definitely helped each other heal from their past traumas. It was beautiful to read the growth for them. This story definitely kept me on my toes.
Oh the plot twist in this storyline, holy moly. I was not expecting that. I love the family this group has created. I love that no matter what is thrown their way they always persevere. Loved this one.

The audiobook was narrated by Ryan West. For being a one man show he kept me on my toes! He kept me engaged and the characterizations and emotions he embodied were so good for the storyline. The book is in 3POV.

one hot badass Irishman

Liam and Avery's story has become my fave in this action packed hot as hell series. He's arrogant, sarcastic, hilarious and dirty dirty dirty. Avery is sweet, caring, insecure but with a core of steal. I loved Liam receiving his comeuppance when he meets this amazing woman.
Ryan West can whisper in my ear all day long with the sexy Irish brogue he effected for the character of Liam.

Loved the Irish brogue

I know I could have read this book much quicker, but I did enjoy listening to it, and Ryan West's Irish brogue. Not being Irish, I can't attest to the authenticity, but it sounded good to me. The audio version is approx. 15.35 hrs of listening.

Remembering Liam from Adam, Serena, and Jake's book, I was not sure what to expect. The elusive Mr. Black was the target. Finding out about both Avery and Liam's tormented pasts, I knew it was going to be an interesting ride seeing how the author was going to get them together.

This book has so much intrigue, action, suspense, and mystery working together, much more than the previous book. There were so many pieces to the puzzle, that every time I thought it was almost the last, it wasnt!

Liam and Avery had great chemistry. I thought it was interesting that Avery was so willing to accept him as her Dom. They also had several funny moments that often occurred as they were ratcheting up the sexual tension. The book involved many steamy scenes.

As the Taggert team navigates the streets of London trying to bring down Mr. Black, and avoiding spotlighting Liam's past, Avery and Liam move steadily toward their HEA. You won't be disappointed by the twists, turns, and surprises throughout the book.

I totally enjoyed listening to this story, love how the author twined all the components so beautifully together love, action, suspense and best of all D/s. Looking forward for the complete Masters and Mercenaries series to be on Audible

She did it again! A real story and the love making , sex, bdsm is just a part of the characters lives. She didn't need too use every dirty word she knows to tell her story.

I have love the stories so far. The men who have found the loves of their lives. I also love the intrigue and spy stuff.
Lexi is now one of my favorite authors.

And for some close minded folks out
there I really wish someone would write something this good for us lesbians. It's just not out there. Or very few and far between. And like $5 for 50 pages not even whole novels. And a lot of it just crass and every dirty word they can think of. Not like this THIS IS BDSM EROTIC ROMANCE NOVEL AND IT's VERY WELL WRITTEN.

26 years now with the love of my life. Just because I read and love straight Erotica doesn't mean I'm not a real lesbian. What it means is that I appreciate a good story. Also I'm gay but not narrow. Honestly and some of you have a lot of nerve.

By the way Lexi I think this team and story could really benefit from the inclusion of a bdsm, science fiction, type nerdy smart lesbian/ lesbian couple. Maybe one could be sporty so good at the fighting stuff. Maybe hand to hand stuff. She'd have to be the Mistress obviously. Hope it's a suggestion you might use.
