I like how the author goes into what we feel, our thoughts, our emotions, what we fear... I'm not one to be afraid/or admit, but we sometimes may avoid challenges. I understand there's plenty of people who live life skimming the surface and don't desire to dive into anything. We may take on all this personal independence that we tell ourselves we don't need to be closer to those around us. These practices using positive steps for change allow us to have a new story for our future and we can engage with the life we have avoided.
People may get defensive as they are protective, but the advice detailed will help out partners, or even personal setbacks. Those underlining expectations, challenging moments, surprises, allows you to express yourself with words with directions of how to be heard and respected. Each partner can feel part of their own relationship giving both growth and a better mindset. You'll learn how to watch out for your, and your partners triggers, as its not about battling against each other but creating that bond you wanted to have. You will learn how to get a positive discovery of your new goals and be ready for your ambitions and shared purpose. I really liked the narrator, she was like listening to a wonderful counselor. I highly recommend this audio, pretty cool.
