Publisher's Summary

If you want to learn how to audit, then pay attention....

Auditing can be a scary concept to people studying accounting and finance, but it doesn’t have to be. Many people are scared by the idea of having to make sure somebody else is doing things correctly, especially in such a high-pressure environment as the tumultuous world of business.

What can help you, though, is having someone clearly and concisely explain everything you need to know about the topic. That’s what this audiobook aims to do. Over the course of this audiobook, you're going to learn a whole lot about many different topics: from risk assessment to the different types of audits, all the way to how to perform all of them and file a report.

You'll also discover how auditing relates to accounting and how you yourself can be a great auditor and perform your job extremely well.

Auditing: The Ultimate Guide to Performing Internal and External Audits will cover topics such as:

  • What is auditing?
  • Types of audits, balance sheets, and assertions
  • Life as an auditor - differences in audits and ethics

Excellent.

Very good book on audit principles, processes, and procedures. This proves to be most useful even today. I continue to reference this text in the field doing audit for client.

Just Ok

I try not to be too harsh because I can only imagine how much work goes into making an audio book. However, this one was a little rough around the edges. The content was ok for an introductory level book. The narrator has a great voice, but there were a lot of misread items in the book, and they were quite noticeable. An easy listen if you would like another Accounting book to add to the collection, but definitely not a single source to rely on.

Well written and easy to understand.

For the author-The book is easy to follow and understand especially for an accounting book. For the seller-Thank you for getting it to me right away, I had ordered it from another party on Amazon and the never mailed it. The book was more reasonable and in excellent condition.

Like the Miz this book is....."AWESOME"

The book covers the topic very well but the the writing, however, is difficult to understand; it uses too many words instead of explaining an already difficult subject simply and efficiently but still good enough to post five stars.

It's a pretty good book.

I would recommend it to everyone. It came as stated. There are some markings, but overall in good book. And I saved much from it as it is packed with the data i was need.

My Review for this book.

The book had a little wear and tear on the outside but that was fine inside. There were a little markings on the inside but not too much. Over all the book was in good shape, no complaints because the stuff is great and content is appealing.

This is a greatly written book

This is a fabulously written book. It is not difficult to find information in it; the book is greatly organized as for as the content is concern. Sometimes it feels like the writers were being deliberately put everything in it. Furthermore, the team that wrote the book and the team that wrote the Connect questions seem like two different teams. But they did fantastic job.

A real book to learn Auditing.

This audible is a real page turner. Damn! Attestation really rocks but Auditing Services will just blow your mind. Even if you're not an accountant, this is a great read. So grab a copy today before they're all sold out. This is the one book you'll definitely want to have with you if you're traveling and you have room in your back pack for just one book.

It's a fine book...

If you're looking at this book I'm assuming it's because you need it for class and have no say in the matter, but it IS a very informative book and will most likely be helpful if you are taking the CPA Exam in the near future. There is lots of detail and I'd say it's pretty clear, though some concepts are just inherently difficult and require rereading.

Very basic overview

For a book titled "the ultimate guide" this was terribly superficial and extremely basic in its content.
