We have this book and it is one of my daughters favorites so to have this with the amazing Lavar Burton reading was truly a treat for both of us.

Informing & Entertaining

We definitely recommend this book for the whole family!
This is a really good book for people who want to be a scientist when they grow up.
It’s also a really good book for kids to learn more about astrophysics in a simple and practical way. We could really understand it and learned a lot. It also has some funny parts! My kids, ages 14, 12, & 7, liked the narrator too.

the voice of my childhood meets one of my heroes in a Wonder filled overview of space.

excellent narration and excellent writing

my adolescent daughters and myself listened to this book together. it took a few chapters for my youngest to get into the book but neither daughter has a love of astronomy. by the middle of the book both girls had gained an interest in astronomy and were wanting to learn more. by the end if the book all three of us had learned more about astronomy than we knew before and were sorry the book had come to an end. expert narration by the master himself. and excellent writing by well respected experts. this is a great read and listen for any age.

A Thrilling Book about the Cosmos

If you’re looking for an entertaining book about the science of the Cosmos this is perfect. Neil beautifully captures the essence of our Cosmos and the importance of a Cosmic Perspective. All around an amazing book. Plus, who doesn’t love LeVar Burton.

This book was choc-full of fascinating nuggest of Astronomical goodness entertainingly delivered in an engaging manner which can be enjoyed by children and adults alike!
