We definitely recommend this book for the whole family!
This is a really good book for people who want to be a scientist when they grow up.
It’s also a really good book for kids to learn more about astrophysics in a simple and practical way. We could really understand it and learned a lot. It also has some funny parts! My kids, ages 14, 12, & 7, liked the narrator too.

my adolescent daughters and myself listened to this book together. it took a few chapters for my youngest to get into the book but neither daughter has a love of astronomy. by the middle of the book both girls had gained an interest in astronomy and were wanting to learn more. by the end if the book all three of us had learned more about astronomy than we knew before and were sorry the book had come to an end. expert narration by the master himself. and excellent writing by well respected experts. this is a great read and listen for any age.

It's great! Astrophysics for young people in a hurry is a very interesting lecture and it's my second favorite lecture!

If you’re looking for an entertaining book about the science of the Cosmos this is perfect. Neil beautifully captures the essence of our Cosmos and the importance of a Cosmic Perspective. All around an amazing book. Plus, who doesn’t love LeVar Burton.

I can't imagine a better book on astrophysics for kids (or adult beginners!). The reading was incredibly impressive and brought the content to life.
