Great enemies to lovers

First, let me say, I received a free copy of this audiobook (at my own request) and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Brance is a brilliant lawyer, but he’s also a complete and total ALPHAHOLE with major relationship issues. Braelyn, the owner of Thicket a curio shop, who is still working on some heartbreaking issues from her past, is a sweet and beautiful woman. Ollie (my absolute favorite character and unknowing matchmaker) Brance's adorable son, in need of a friend. Now you may ask yourself why you should read this book. It's because the characters and the story were beautifully developed, the narrator's (Heather Costa and Jeffrey Kafer) flow was superb, and the heat level was legit! All these factors truly made listening to this book a pleasure.

Great enemies to lovers

Harloe Rae is a new to me author and this was a very enjoyable book. Braelyn has been struggling to cope from an accident 3 years ago. When a cute little boy runs into her store bring a ray of sunshine, it makes her day. Too bad, his dad, Brance doesn’t have the same sunny disposition. All of the females in Brance’s life have added to is intolerance for any type of relationship and Braelyn adds to this she she gets under his skin. Many stories are enemies to lovers, but the friction between Brance and Braelyn is another level. I enjoyed watching them evolve and grow, but Olie stole the show with is high energy and matchmaking.

What a book! It is a well written second chance, enemies to lovers novel. It is also narrated wonderfully.

You need to read this emotional story

Harloe Rae writes a powerful story of lose, healing but not living, new beginnings, lose again, and finally loving. Braelyn has suffered a tragic loss that haunts her still after several years. Brance doesn't trust women due to past relationships. He comes across as a condescending jerk but don't give up on him too soon. He dearly loves his 5 year old son, Ollie. When they meet it's a friends to lovers romance. It's Ollie's wisdom of a child and their friends that conspire to make them see the light.

The narrators become the characters and bring them to life. Their voices portray the emotions of these characters and create a wonderful listening experience that you won't forget. I love it when I can just sit back a let a book take me to my happy place.

I highly recommend this Audible book. It deserves more than five stars.

Enjoyable story with great narration

The synopsis tells you everything you need to know about the story going in except that it's a really enjoyable listen with fantastic narration. The story pulled me in right away and held my attention until the very end. Every time I had to pause the story I couldn't wait to get back to it.

While all the characters are good and eventually all likable, Ollie Steals the show right from the start. Great character

The narration was great as well. Both narrators do a fantastic job as usual bringing the story to life. Both have great voices that easy to listen to for long periods of time. Their narration flows smoothly and evenly with great character voices adding to the overall enjoyment of the book.
