Better than excellent

This book was better than I expected, I was really surprised. The story was well put together. It has a bit of everything. I think it's worth a try for any adventure.

The book is entertaining. It has a very in depth story that I look forward to listening to more when its released.

Really enjoyed this book. Love the character development the storyline the humor really I’m looking forward to the next one. I hope we have it soon.

Great story, where is the sequel?

Fantastic world-building, terrific characters. I particularly loved the conflict between the personality of the dragon and the personality of the human, and the gradual evolution of Nicholas. The goblin was a very engaging character as well. I did not enjoy the very lengthy description of the battle with the Dragon at the end, and I was also extremely disappointed that there is no sequel to the book, even though this book was published 4 years ago. Narration was outstanding

The best I read of fantasy books.

I was really surprised. The book only had 6 reviews. It was only $2. But this book has to be the best I read. I am hard on authors but this one the best I read. Why because authors tend to be too dramatic and talk about senseless stuff during battle. For example the cut ofher breast or how his eyes made him look so handsome. There was none of that here. This book made of the character make sense. Everybody did what they where suppose to. Not that the MC didn't make mistakes but it made sense. He didn't suddenly get smarter or dumber to just continue the story. I believe this book was better then alil hate and I loved that story

Excellent

Great beginning and interesting take on old school fantasy. The story line is the most compelling part. The characters, while interesting, will hopefully get more fleshed out now that the protagonist has found his humanity. By the end the interpersonal dynamics that have developed seem to be indicating that.

Enjoyed

As a older adult thats read several hundred fantasy novels this was a refreshing listen without having to get past young adult antics. Great job to the author, well crafted.

What a wonderful surprise. A gritty, thoroughly entertaining story with marvelous, original characters and superstar narration. Literally...fantastic.

Unique and very entertaining!

Well told and unique story. Enjoyed the main character very much, and seeing how “he” changed as the story progressed.
The narrator did a wonderful job. I had no trouble following along and telling the different characters apart. He made it easy to get immersed in the tale.
The only reason the story itself did not get 5 stars, is my dislike for including the antagonist point of view. I prefer to learn along with the protagonist what the villains are planning.

Good listen

Loved it! Can't wait for the next one. I want to see where the story goes.
