Arsenal is no more...or is she?

Amelia is back in the present. However, her trip to the past cost her dearly. She's left the team and struck out on her own, determined not to make the mistakes of the past.

But the past isn't done with her yet.

A new threat has emerged. One that sells dangerous technology to the highest bidder...and they have their gaze set on Arsenal.

To face the threats of the future, she needs the most advanced Arsenal she's ever conceived.

That leaves her with only one choice....

Find a Th'un ship and use the metal to make her Alien Arsenal once more before her new enemy can. If she doesn't, she will lose more than her tech - she'll lose her life.

I really enjoyed this one. I am really excited for the next. If you read this one, you will understand why!

Great Book

At this point, we seem to be thoroughly into the third act of this series. The seemingly insuperable* problems of the previous volumes are starting to look solvable, and there is resolution to some of the secondary plot lines.

For a time in this series, it seemed like the protagonist had forgotten that she was a gadgeteer, and she was just moping rather than rebuilding the tools that she had built before. (This is something of a genre trope, but it's one of the more annoying tropes.)

But now, we get rescues of people presumed lost, a new armor suit, small victories over what seem to be the main villains of the series, and possibly identification of the final mastermind.

Character development isn't particularly strong here, but the plot is done well and moves quickly. With only one volume left, I'm anticipating the grand climax.

Unlike with some series, I doubt I will be unhappy about ending it. It's been entertaining enough to continue and I do want to see a satisfying conclusion, but it hasn't been so compelling that its ending will leave a hole in my reading life.

The last few books have had a slow build in quality and excitement, so if you have come this far, I don't think this book will disappoint.

Solid

Book 8 was a blast. Amelia’s armor has “issues” and a new villain emerges.
This is where she meets Wraith and the next book is the beginning of their team up.
8 books in and I’m still glad I started this series.
This is superhero fiction for Military SciFi fans. I know it’s not that genre but it deals a lot with aliens and advanced science per the main character.
This is a phenomenal set of novels and I recommend it everyone.
I have already started book 9. From there I will go back to Wraith book 4.
I use whisperSync and the narrator is great.

This series is worth finishing.

Almost at the end already…! This has been an amazing experience with Emily “The Queen” Beresford!
This book might be my favorite of the series! There is a lot going on in and around our Amelia. Now split off from the team and “retired.” But the world won’t leave her be!
So she will do some research and development, coming back with the reminder why she is called Arsenal! Because they seemed to have forgotten it…

And we get the crossover starter at the end of this book with the notorious Wraith. Which starts with Wraith’s fourth book and then again in the final Arsenal book!!!
Haskell knocks it out of this world once more!!!

My favorite superhero without a doubt!!!
