It is the final year of the Great Tribulation. The Tribulation Force is holding out in their San Diego safe house, but in reality, there is no place left that can be called safe. Great Christian Fiction

If you keep in mind that this is fiction based on the Bible you will have the right frame of reference. While a lot of the story does have ties back into the Bible it does not intend on replacing it. Its an easy place for some to "get the bug" for faith although ultimately they need to be pointed to the only true authoritative source, the Bible.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series and recommended it to many friends. Unlike the movies, I found the books well done, and well produced.

This series should have ended a long time ago

Like most people I love this series - the first 4 or so books were great but these later ones make entire story lines out of the smallest "incidents" and it's clear the author(s) are struggling to keep the series going. Armageddon isn't even a story - you could completely skip this book and still walk away from the series without having missed anything significant. I will keep listening to the end - but this book (and the last 2) have been terrible. If only they could all be as good as the first 4.

Love it

I love the Left Behind series. But it drives me crazy how Farone says Petra. It is pronounced Pay-tra not Pee-tra

I highly recommend this to anybody especially anybody that is new in faith or just sitting on the outskirts of having faith. glorious appearing here I come!

Excellent narration and storyline

As I’ve listened to the series. I’ve read along in the book of Revelation. I understand the scripture better now than ever before. What an amazing teaching these stories provide. Thank you LaHaye and Jenkins for this unique blessing.

Much better narration!

This is a brilliant, inspiring Biblical series telling of the end of the world with amazing realism. It has brought me so much closer to God. The rise of the Antichrist and his speeches and thoughts are such a warning and insight into how Satan lies and schemes against us for our overthrow. Especially when he finally tells the truth about his pure evil halfway thru chapter 8.
Richard Ferrone is one of two narrators for this series. The other has an irritating style with a cowboyish drawl. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Richard is much better, more varied and expressive, but he's a bit rubbish at accents. Everyone, whether Jordanian, Chinese, Israeli or German, has the same American accent, all the wonen have deep male voices, and his attempts at British have me in tears of laughter. (60 years out of date, from an ancient 40s movie! 🤣) They also can't agree on pronunciation of foreign names. Richard says "Zion" in the first few books, but after hearing the other pronounce it "Tseeyone" he stsrts copying him. However, he still says "Abdullah" and Hassid", the other says "Abdoolah" and "Hasseed". He's not afraid to sing when called for in the text, and has quite a nice singing voice. (though you do have to use imagination when listening to "Chloe" singing in a baritone!)
