Fantastic

This book brings a wonderful after story of John the Apostle. I great imagining of what it must have been like to be in the 1st century church when John’s works we’re written.

I would give it six stars if possible...

It is an incredible journey through the Gospel of John. The historical fiction aspect is well generated to give the reader a true glimpse of what it would be like to be in the presence of Jesus. The dialogue is believable and the authors did a superb job of adding accurate historical evidence to support the text. If there was a sixth star, this book would deserve it.

What did you love best about John's Story?

Want to know what the books of the bible are about? These books are in story form....theme, characters, settings. I've tried to read the Bible a hundred times. With stories like this, I can read/listen to the Bible and fully understand each book. What did I love best about John's Story? It's the first of many that I will read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of John's Story?

When I found out that Saul became John, at Jesus' saying it was so.

What about Roberston Dean’s performance did you like?

Excellent.

If you could rename John's Story, what would you call it?

I wouldn't.

this book provides some powerful and historic insights into the life of John that we don't get from reading the bible.

Big fan of this book and all his others. If you enjoy books that are about biblical themes this is a fantastic book.
