Publisher's summary

Twenty-first-century scientist Matt Miller has become a wealthy businessman and politician with a beautiful wife and family. Yet, despite his best efforts, Matt’s world is crumbling around him.

Grace has recovered from her physical injuries, but her mental scars deepen as the threat to her family remains, and her brother’s trial looms on the horizon. The Millers find themselves at the center of a maelstrom that threatens to engulf the entire colony of Virginia, making it the epicenter for a revolution.

As the events around Matt unfold and his situation worsens, an opportunity presents itself to right the wrongs he has caused, but only if Matt can leave his life in the colonies behind.

Entertaining as always

I really enjoy the Mathew Miller story. I love the historical fiction that Mr Rose weaves . I can’t wait for the next book,

Loved it!

Author does a great job having the reader reflect on what is important to one self. Doing the right thing, family and our decisions we make. This book had a wonderful blend of history and time travel.

Fantastic story

The last book had such a dramatic ending, I've been waiting for this one to finally come out and continue the story. I does not disappoint. I hope there will be more!

Interesting time travel/historical tale

This was an interesting tale of time travel and early American history. I think the performance could have been enhanced with the use of a professional voice actor, rather than the author. I had to make sure who I was listening to, because his voice was basically the same for every character. I also think he could’ve researched a bit more the colloquial expressions of the 18th century, but all in all, it was a very enjoyable read.

Not as good as the first three

Very little action compared to other books. More of a soap opera. Hopefully a sequel will be more re interesting

Talk, talk, talk

The 1st 3 books were really interesting. Book 4 is a dud. The author spends a lot of time showing off his superior education in history and science. The characters are used to verbalize Mr. Rose's viewpoints. I wasted an audible credit on this one!
